i went to see prince in concert at the o2 in london last week.

i didn't really want to go, he's not my thing but my wife wanted to see him so i went along for the ride.

he is actually an extremely talented guitarist and pianist and he can sing too.

He only went back for his own marketing reasons, he used to be called the little dirty one, which he promoted intensionally so as to bring notice to himself

now his fan base has matured so now he's the clean and righteous one, a new marketing ploy.

I'm guessing that his mother heard some his early music which was really filthy even in today standards and decided he needed god to clean himself up.

He still creeps me out now just as he did back then......but thats the rock and roll business I guess

i knew what the watchtower taught regarding the "faithful & discreet slave class" but how they could ever suggest that "domestics" were "individual members" of the anointed that were given food to the other anointed ones, yet they specifically were not members of the governing body, but the governing body represented the group that would take the lead in feeding others, was beyond me!

the whole interpretation of the fds doctrine is ridiculous!.

were there certain things that puzzled you as to how the watchtower could come up with a particular view?

Nah I understood them well it was all contrived BS to make a kingdom for themselves and help sell their wares, they had the opportunity given to them by the government of the land so they

took and ran with it.

How to stump someone that believes the noah's flood happened.

one of the key peices of evidence that people sight to try to prove the flood happen is the fact the most cultures have a flood myth or story as they put it.. i was just watching a program that also points out the most, if not all cultures believe in dragons.

even cultures that evolve in isolation have beliefs in dragons and they are all simular though not the same.

just like the flood myth.. so if they believe the flood happened because so many cultures have flood stories.

To imply the notion that all the animals on earth could be gathered and placed in a close quartered boat, with all the important indigenous food that that animal would have to survive on

and not one of the animals die during that length of time is absolutely ludicrous and goes out of bounds of stupidity, but then again this is religion.

Or was it a policy to force the flock to not waste time with any outside affairs, when time could be spent in field service, creating more power and money for the WTS

if in fulfilment of joel's prophecy god's spirit was poured out on both men and women at pentecost 33 ce giving them the ability to prophesy, why did paul say that women should keep silent?.
